Apple today launched iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini with 5G technology in Cupertino, California, ushering in a new era for the best smartphone in the world. For a brighter, more immersive viewing experience, the newly designed iPhone 12 models sport expansive edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR displays and a new Ceramic Shield front cover, offering the largest jump in durability ever on the iPhone.The Apple-designed A14 Bionic, the fastest smartphone chip, powers every iPhone 12 experience, and, combined with an advanced dual-camera system, delivers major new computational photography features and smartphone video of the highest quality. MagSafe is also launched in iPhone 12 models, providing high-powered wireless charging and an all-new accessory ecosystem that easily connects to the iPhone.
Five beautiful aluminum finishes, including blue, green, black, white, and (PRODUCT)RED, will be available for iPhone 12 mini.1 Pre-orders for iPhone 12 begin on Friday, October 16, with availability starting on Friday, October 23. The iPhone 12 mini will be available for pre-order starting on Friday 6 November and will be available in stores starting on Friday 13 November.
